Productivity and well-being rely on buildings enabling behaviour appropriate for conditions, so they are addressed in Post Occupancy Evaluations.
These terms are used here to mean:
“Productivity” – the work or service(s) outcomes. This includes domestic functions in residential buildings
“Well-being” – safety, health, happiness
“Building” – the built environment including building surroundings
“Uses” – activity, behaviour
“Conditions” – include weather, season, day/night, security, emergency, pandemic, maintenance, economic etc
